Looking for the longest lasting tire for touring for my 2006 st13. Feedback would be appreciated.

I'll chime in with... it is going to depend on a lot of factors, weight, road surface, air pressure, riding style and probably more. Typically GT versions are longer lasting because of design. Darkside, as mentioned above, trumps all condition vs. a motorcycle tire (In case that term is not clear, car tire).

LOL, whose, and what conditions? I got about 20% on the same brand with similar conditions, paid more though. For a reference point, Michelin R5 vs. R5GT 10K on the GT and could have snuck a few hundred more out of it. In the spring I'll switch to the 6GT and see what happens. I'm not endorsing the tire brand or model but it has not let me down and I'm demanding a lot, fast curves, long loaded interstate trips, sometimes some holligan stuff .

We had a guy here talking about getting in the neighborhood of 4 to 5,000 miles out of his tires. He lived down south and said his riding style was extremely aggressive...and he never ever saw a chicken stripe on his tires. When I read that I did some searching and found soemone had mentioned getting roughly double that on the same tires.

My point is the same tire on the same bike can yield a 100% variation in mileage. YMMV*

I installed some new Battlax T32GT tires on the ST1300 today. And here is a record of the tires I've put on it since I bought the bike in 2015.

I have Pirelli Angel GT on my ST with the rear being 180/55/17. I run 42 PSI front and rear and have had excellent feedback from the tires. I have scraped my pegs quite a few times on twisty roads. No issues with running the more easily available tire size even though it isn't stock. Haven't...

I put a set of Bridgestone Battaxe T32's non GT on this spring. I have about 5k on them now with maybe 1k left. I tend to brake hard and late and enjoy the toes scraping the asphalt. I would say 75 percent of my time is out on rides of 50 plus miles. The rest around town. Ride 2 up occasionally. Really would like more miles, I'm sure riding style is a big factor in my case. Going to try GT's next year. Will say the current set is super sticky. Love them

Bridgestones are the only tires I can comment on and my next set of tires will be Bridgestones T32 GT's
Have a rear T32 GT ready in the garage and will order a T32 GT for the front next spring when I need one.
It really depends on how hard you ride your bike, ambient temperature, road temperature and the type of pavement your riding on.
Different cites use different road surfaces. Hard to compare mileage when where riding on different surfaces
