Looking for the longest lasting tire for touring for my 2006 st13. Feedback would be appreciated.
how much longer does the GT version last compared to a non GTI'll chime in with... it is going to depend on a lot of factors, weight, road surface, air pressure, riding style and probably more. Typically GT versions are longer lasting because of design. Darkside, as mentioned above, trumps all condition vs. a motorcycle tire (In case that term is not clear, car tire).
LOL, whose, and what conditions? I got about 20% on the same brand with similar conditions, paid more though. For a reference point, Michelin R5 vs. R5GT 10K on the GT and could have snuck a few hundred more out of it. In the spring I'll switch to the 6GT and see what happens. I'm not endorsing the tire brand or model but it has not let me down and I'm demanding a lot, fast curves, long loaded interstate trips, sometimes some holligan stuff .how much longer does the GT version last compared to a non GT
