I have the right side mount. It holds the XM antenna for the Garmin 2730. The antenna is magnetic, so it sticks, but I drilled two small holes to match up to the bottom of the antenna and make it more secure. The Garmin and XM antenna get swapped from the bike to the car and back.
The proper sizes screws come with the unit. I have added two black zip ties to the bracket between the two screws that let me route my antenna wire down to the vent, where I stuff the excess wire I don't need to reach to the
garmin. I left the ties open to about 1/2 inch in diameter.
