• Start with a City beginning with A
    • This is BY STATE
    • Similar to the Tag contest, there will be one thread per state
    • Post a picture of your bike AND some sign, building etc which clearly shows the city/state you're in
    • The next person posts from a city with the name beginning with B, then C, D, etc
    • You can't posts back-to-back pics, you have to wait for a person to post the next city
    • Once Z is reached, the game starts over with A
    • If your state doesn't have a city beginning with the next letter in sequence, it's okay to skip that letter
    • If the location sits for more than one month, the person that posted that is open to move it to the next letter.

The World Wide game is a bit different as it is by whatever is considered a geographic type of regional category, state/province/village etc. and all those will be in the single World Wide A-Z topic.

Re: TX: A to Z (Round 8)

Looks like we've got a break from the rain this morning, so I may go for it. Hope that Silver hasn't been off the battery tender too long ,,,

Update: I went out to the garage earlier this morning to crank it up - guess what? Silver has been off the battery tender too long. It cranked over slowly, just not enough to light its fire, only reset the clock, FCD and trip meters. Got it plugged in (~an hour ago), need to run an errand or two with the GT, if the weather radar doesn't show any rain between Alief and "N" by the time I can leave, I may get there yet.

Update #2: The battery had recovered enough ~an hour ago to start Silver on its own, but not before a thunder-boomer went over my house. Rain is long gone (here) now, but last time I looked at the weather radar there were T-storms moving through the "N" that I was going to visit, and looked like more on the way, so I've given it up for the day. The battery tender is hooked up again, so if the weather looks favorable in the morning I may try it then. The rain chances usually start increasing in the late morning/early afternoon, or at least that's the way it's been here during the past week, so early to mid-morning should be the best time for me to head out of the house.

Re: TX: A to Z (Round 8)

I haven't made it there yet, but had considered riding to Needville yesterday afternoon. I rode to meet some Retread friends yesterday morning for lunch at a Mexican restaurant south of Pearland, and the return trip was a bit of a challenge because of the heat index. By the time I got back home I was nearly (heat) exhausted, so parked the ST in the garage for the rest of the day. I'm glad that I made that decision after seeing the news on TV yesterday afternoon about the 8' King Cobra that had just been captured in Needville at ~4 pm. I hate snakes, especially the deadly venomous variety. Note that the article states a single bite from one of these guys can kill an elephant!

Nice, TOS. Think I'll wait for the 'P', since I was never able to get to the 'N'.

Thanks Joe, I wasn't sure if a photo of a retail store (or any commercial business) was acceptable for this game.
Well, as long as the name is there and it is IN Pearland, it's a good one...

Didn't make it to the nearby R that I had in mind after all, thought I'd leave it up to you:). I may go for the S in the next day or two, if I miss that one there is a T not far from here that I might have a chance to go for.
