Up Yours, err I mean Upt North ole bean....
;)

If the picture was zoomed out more youd see a tad more bits and niggles. Like:
- BT Remote control for the Sena20s on the left grip
- Kenwood radio mic hanging on left reservoir
- Kenwood wired PTT button on the left grip switch housing
- siren buttons hanging off the right hand reservoir
- parking brake mod (from the UK) on the brake lever

Just to name a few mods...

Update: there, the pic below shows the mods listed
So, let's see how many more gadgets one can put on his ST1300P before it goes PFFST? :nuke1:

:potstir1:

Yesterday I moved the '04#2 (Soon to be called Bill's ST1300) to storage (until Bill can pick it up) and rode the 2012 home. I still need to get the tags on the 2012! :doh1:

This has to be the longest sale in the history of STs.
Will you be glad to finally see Bill drive away on '04#2?
I know he's your friend and you want him to be happy.

Which BT control do you have? Pics of it mounted?

Look at my left thumb in the picture, Sena RC4 (~ $90)
- Works really well with Sena20 and iPhone (basically option to using jog wheel and buttons on helmet mounted Sena20)
- low power consumption,
- button functions are programmable,
- proven to work in hot days and rain,
- thin/narrow design doesn’t use much of the left grip to mount,
- but takes some getting used to with gloves on.

RC4 - Compatibility
Compatible Models: 30K, 20S, 10U, 10C, 10R and 10S

Thanks. I see they also have a 3 button version, but it looks like neither are compatible with my Sena SMH10... BT 3.0 vs. BT 4.1. I'll contact Sena to verify.

Edit: I did contact Sena and they confirmed that their BT remotes are not compatible with the SMH series, due to BT 3 vs 4 incompatibility. Bummer. :(

If I would have sold the bike to anyone else, I would have told them, here are the issues, you get to deal with them! :)

But I know Bill's history on working on bikes. He would have never gotten to everything that needed attention. He's been working on rebuilding a Harley that he has owned for at least forty years and he's been working on it long before I got to know him, ten years ago. He also has a older GoldWing (1800) that has been down for 8 years.

At least with the ST1300 I can help and make sure the bike is running good before he takes it. Only one real issue we need to work on and that's a leak that I haven't found yet. Looks like all the smaller hoses will be getting replaced not too long after he takes it (with my help of course)!

This Brit vernacular for a flyby, ie a brief visit?

We Yanks would read this as SS picking you up and tossing you. Which would be funny to see.
Then again, maybe thats why Brits weight system is measured in Stones.

;)

I'd be amazed if he could pick me up let alone toss me.
But let me explain, if someone gives you a "chuck" they lend you a helping hand.
In a sentence it might go a little like, "ay up me o'd mucka, ow at fathe, gisa chuck duck".
Hope that's cleared things up.
Re. Your golden rule SS, I'll register it in your name. Sorted me o'd mucka.
