Hey guys,

I have been following this thread and unbeknownst to the board I have been trying to secure a way of getting these in country as I have a contact in this very line of work in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Well, here is what I found, and I am sorry to say it is not good. After my business associate contacted the company in Hong Kong, he found out this... they said that they do not sell the products to anyone other than to one company in the U.S. And the really strange thing is that they will not divulge the U.S. importer because of contractual arrangements... they were not at liberty to give him any info.

So, it looks like the only way to purchase a couple pallets of these is to find a store that has them in stock and buy them up, either from Hong Kong's retail centers or someone find the U.S. distributor (good luck). I know some have said these pop up on eBay, but that is hit or miss.

The only thing I can think of is to go to an online supplier (Asheville Die-Cast in Asheville, NC, which carries motorcycle models) may be a source to get them in.

Well, anyways... that is what I found out.

Maybe to avoid the contractual snags, the manufacturer could pass on your contact info to the U.S. distributor, and if they want to sell to you, they can reveal themselves?

Worth a shot.. a long shot, but a shot nonetheless. I will see what my contact in Kowloon can tell me about it. Thanks!

You better start mass production.
Black is OK.
I can send you a check for down payment.

So just start like Henry Ford.
All colors available.....:)

So I guess this just fizzled out?
It would be so nice to have a model of our bikes sitting on the mantle...

I was able to buy one from another member here who creatively listed it in the "Bikes for Sale" section ... silver 2003 model (black rims) with zero miles ... they do seem to have become a rare item.

Maybe someone could try again to persuade the manufacturer in Hong Kong to agree to a bulk/group buy. Since they don't appear to have been very receptive to inquiries before (they seem only to deal with companies on their inquiry form), can anyone speak Chinese? They may have relaxed their policies after a couple of years.

OK.

I own a webshop for HONDA farkles and I sent an inquiry for the GW and ST models.

My Chinese is excellent, I love noodles and rice.

Let's see if they respond.

Having patience for something you desire, is a worthwhile trait.

I have a small display of the plastic replicas, on a three shelf wood display, made for mini cups and saucers.

Several are antique harleys complete with a glass top gas pump.
A triumph, a Vmax, full dress Harley and Roadstar, Valkry,Virago and Ducati.

Maybe while we are waiting for an St.....we could post photos of our members
collections.....with the winner getting his ST replica first !

Count me in on that list. Can we post a list, with totals at the top ?

Diecast ST1300 ???

I'm bringing up an old topic that seemed to die out.
Can we get diecast models of the ST1300?
I did a forum search and read that previously no one was carrying these diecasts.
Has there been any change since then?
Please post a link if there is some place where I can order a diecast model.
Thanks,
AL
