Where did you ride today?

Father's day present to myself ,rode to Squamish and back. 200 kilometers on the world famous Sea to Sky highway. Got a bit wet riding through a down pour five minutes from home,oh well, pants needed a wash anyway. Sorry no pictures ,too busy enjoying the ride to stop. Belated Happy Father's day to all the Dads

Replaced the battery in the am. Then, rode from Salisbury, MA to Rochester, NH (38 miles) to play a round of disc golf on Father's Day. Took the 'no highways' route home hoping for a little bit of the twisties, but there was too much traffic to "just ride". Actually, I got stuck behind a pickup truck that could barely keep his lane for the most enjoyable section of the route, with no opportunities to lawfully pass (single lane, double yellow). I just kept my distance and enjoyed it anyway.

It was at this point I knew I was flustered. I went over one too many hills looking for a camp spot I had heard about. There was no turning around. I stopped midstream HAHA to take a few pics. Sweating large bullets I did make it through and back across.

I took the 2004 :dr13: for a 38 mile ride today!

This is the first time since 2015, that this motorcycle has been out for that long of a ride!

The previous ride was just around the neighborhood, last week. before that, this bike has sat is various states of restoration!

2004 re-restoration project

I rode to Rising Star COE campground. Grady AR. There should be tugboats with river barges passing through on the Arkansas river tonight.

I got lucky today and missed all the storms and it’s a cool 80f here right now. Not bad for Arkansas in late June.

Edited update: If you camp here be prepared to run for the tent when the buzz of mosquito's shows up at about dark thirty. There was a steady buzz in the air all night.
