Where did you ride today?

30 miles today.. one way.
Took the bike to a mechanic who works out of a barn way out in cow country.

So, when will you go home?

I planned on going home the same evening because the tire changing should've only taken a couple hours because I brought a drum set and kazoos for his young children to play with while he worked on my bike.
( I figured that would be an incentive to speed him up. )

Well, that didn't work-- I had to get a friend to take me back home with all the noisemakers.

Bike will be there until this weekend.

Rode the FJR down to my Local Honda dealer to put a refundable deposit on a NT1100, so has to have first refusal rights. My local mom and pop Honda dealer told me yesterday, they are getting one unit at the end of May. Think I am going to let the FJR go in as a trade in. And have a couple of months to make up my mind about the Versys 1000 SE.

Nothing special. Changed the position of shift lever. Had to test it. Only 17 mile loop which included a whiskey stop for some libations at home. Maybe tomorrow, the better half and I can get some good miles in. Less than 50 days to FerrySTOC.

it was sprinkling when i got home from Henry's so i took a nap. once up i noticed that it was mostly cloudy with the sun peaking out so i took an 11km ride on the IceBear

Sunny today, 15C, fitted the short "summer"screen and went for a nice 90 kms ride in the SE region of Belgium.
Foto is of a viewpoint near Dohan on the Tobacco route (region of Bouillon).

After riding for a while today I decided to take a break.....while sitting on a park bench looking at all the pretty girls walk by I felt an elbow jab on my ribs....."Hi Mr. Reaper!".....He said "You can call me Grimm....you're wife told me to do that!".....I said " I'm married but I'm not dead yet!.....He said "I know...that's the problem!......"I know trying to keep up to fellow riders will kill me some day" I said. He said "No. You ride so slow that Amish buggys will rear end you some day, I could have taken you many times already because of that, but the problem is because you have so many questions and bad jokes for Satan and God that neither Heaven nor Hell wants you!!" I'm going riding again..... Russ.
