Where did you ride today?

Rode up to St John’s Monastery and Bakery north of Goldendale Wa. For some early dinner snacks and
Birthday cookies. Ended up lugging home some cheesecake and dolmathes.
The ride home through klickikat had me dodging fisherman and wild turkeys on the narrow roadways. Great time!IMG_8137.jpeg

I was able to get out today for a short ride down along the South Platte River. I really like that route early in the autumn morn as the aroma wafts from wood burning fire places of the cabins that dot along the river. The cool to cold crisp air caressing my face as I motor along the river with my helmet face shield open. Heated grips on to keep my fingers warm through my summer riding gloves. Not long now before those gloves give way to the bulky winter electric gloves. My favorite melodies emitting from my helmet speakers. Beautiful contrast of the blue sky against the shimmering golden leaves of the aspen trees and the greens of the Spruces and Pines. Soon those Aspin will be bare of most of their leaves. What few leaves remain will be a dirty brown blowing in the wind. Late September, early October are the best Colorado riding times. Enjoy and Ride safe my friends

Rode my FJR up onto the lift. It has been two years since the FJR received new shoes. I almost forgot how to take the wheels off to reshoe her. Thankfully the service manual came to the rescue. The price of tires has gone up as with every thing these days. Tomorrow I will reinstall the wheels
