Yea, pulled the trigger! 2006 r1200rt. Has goodies ive never had! Abs, cruise, heated grips and seat, six speed etc. gonna be fun!
The bike feels heavy after my 700, but boy, is it smooth!
I hit wolf creek where its curvy and getting paved. I was cautious but had a ball! Switches r everywhere else!
Taking it to the shop for a check up tomorrow.

I had a 2005 the same color, I put 48k miles on it, great bike.

Yea, the prev owner and i both have a 30” inseam. The bike is pretty complete. Even comes wjth a haynes manual and a huge tank bag.
I have a lot to learn here and loom forward to it.

The 700 was a fine bike. The panniers were terrible for what riding i do. Have i ever told u how much i dislike top boxes! Well, i do, and had too much fun mount one on the 700. Ewww! Hated it.
I have huge bags on the new one and a 30 l drybag. I like that!
Splitting for a few days as soon as this little job is done.
Just ordered a fall riding jacket too, so i can ride further into the season. Never had heated grips or a butt warmer before!
