This is my 1990 Miata I recently brought home. It was a one owner car with service records back to 2012. The cosmetics are rough but mechanically it is sound and passed a pre-purchase inspection by a Miata fanatic. Like an old machine of any kind I set out to replace the fluids. The oil change went fine, but removing the thermostat housing the two steel bolts in the aluminum turned had turned to cheese but I have at least 3/8 of an inch of the remainder of the bolt sticking out. Oh the joys inherent in working on old stuff. The bolts have been soaking about 24 hours in penetrating solvent. I think I’ll wait until tomorrow to try and get them out.

it was also called a mini vett.
