@Alberto bummer, just go start now, it will hurt less later. Best of finishes!

yes, but old and new, different tires behave differently. My mistake was that I didn't replace old metzler on time, but I shouldn't experiment with tire brands and buy it at all.All tires do not perform well in the cold
You didn’t find 4 drain hoses coming out of the bottom of the carbs and joined in to the main drain hose going down the side? I remember those hose connections making it tough to get the carbs clear of the bike until I disconnected them, I think it was a spring clamp that easily opens with needle nose pliers.Do I miss something in here? Did previous owner remove T joint hosing to carbs? Didn't find anything like that
If you like the bike as more than a assembly of parts it is worth it, If you enjoy the work as more than just assembling the parts it is worth it. Nothing to me compares to running your hands over it when it is back on the asphalt, and your hands remember the job.Not sure that old st 1100 deserves so much efforts to restore, but ..
Yeah, but we got attached to our reliable mounts... experienced adventures with them...Not sure that old st 1100 deserves so much efforts to restore, but ..
