, have a great day on the roads!
the Av did good with the trailer to haul the set pieces back home. I've yet to see what the fuel economy was but just from watching the gauge it was modest.
The 5x8 enclosed UHaul trailer cost me ~10 mpg, despite my keeping the speed to about 60 mph the entire way home from Lansdale. Oh well, it's not something I do very often.
I don't get much better than that, when I haul my 5x10 box trailer behind my Tacoma.
On my way up to PA my CR-V made a bit over 35 mpg, which dropped to about 25 on the return trip with the trailer in tow.
The best my 98 Tacoma (SE V6 4WD model) ever did was about 22 mpg. That was with nothing in tow and not in 4WD, obviously.

Sounds like you have the new hybrid though.
making it haul anything more than butts is outside it's design envelope IMO.
Your cr-v probably isn't optimized for towing (obviously).
