Buy 2nd Gen Side Emitting Headlight LED Strips Online
With the Side Emitting Ribbon LED Strip, the LED shines parallel with the circuit board. Our Headlight LED Strips are IP67 rating, waterproof.www.oznium.com
These are the ones I have on my mirrors- they’re side emitters, so stick them in place and the light shines backwards to traffic- I’ve had them for many years and they have been reliable. They’re a little bright at night when looking in the mirror but I don’t do too much night riding these days, so I’d rather have more visibility (of me).

I'd posit if they don't see your '1 solid red brake light, the standard left turn signal, the bright flashing led turn signals' are they even going to notice your arm? Armed with the lighting you've added I'd just keep both hands on the bars and head on a swivel. Well if you could put LED motion turn indicators on your sleeve and gloves that would be way trick. If they don't see my 2 flashing brake lights, 1 solid red brake light, the standard left turn signal, the bright flashing led turn signals AND my left arm sticking out, I was going to be their target regardless.

Another project I've thought about was putting turnsignal/taillights and dedicated brake lights on the panniers. I've been successfully able to procrastinate because of not finding waterproof quick-disconnects to my liking.
Functional but a bit utilitarian for my taste. I was also thinking of some kind of "panel" mount connector for one half of the connection. What about trailer harness plugs?

Late to the party but I use these on my ST1100 Mirrors -
