Motorcycles and Murals

Mr jodog. Maybe I missed the explanation, but what;s the deal with the numbered Minnesota things in your photos?

Depends on the photo. The paper booklet with the number 104 is the "flag" for the Tour of Minnesota consisting of 25 murals (and a few other things) scattered about MN. The 109 Flag is from the Mural Madness Tour which requires submitting murals no closer than one mile apart. Obviously, some murals can count more than once. Check out:

I'm seeing a V65 Sabre just like the one I used to own. First sport tourer.

This was a group from SabMag. At the time I had a 84 V65 & a V45 Sabre. The V45 Sabre is in this picture (third bike from the left), and the V65 Sabre was back home in the garage.

After buying my first ST1300, I sold both of the Sabres.

I put 85,000 miles on my Sabre then sold it to my best riding buddy, who sold it later to his riding buddy from work. It ended up in Aruba while working a refinery there and just guessing it is a pile of rust there now.

Yeah, I made the mistake to tell my wife that I would sell the Sabres, after buying that first ST1300.

There are times I wished I still had them. But they would just be sitting in the garage, with all the other bikes I wished I had, because I'd be out on the ST1300s, riding them.

Got these on today's ride
