Over sized and odd ball attractions

How about half a truck to go with half a "Bug". It's located at Mason's Autobody on RT50 in McArthur, Ohio.

Does this remind us of one of our "beloved members"? Our very own Mellow has become famous in the form of roadside American folk art! This "Mellow" is located along RT50 approximatly 6 miles east of Prattsville, Ohio at the junction of 356.

Not really giant but larger than life size. This is in Stockton(??), Illinois on US-20 east of Galena (I'm bad about these little town names.)

The six pack used to be Old Style. Wonder when they changed that?

Got these two at separate places last week, going to and coming from Finger Lakes STOC. If they ever get together we'll have over size calves running around the countryside. :D

Love the dinosaur. I saw some dinosaur "skeletons" yesterday up in Wisconsin made from discarded junk. The carapace on the Triceratops was a shield shaped piece from a satellite dish. Actually looked pretty good. Failed to get a pic as I was in the west bound lane and they were down over the edge of the east bound, no place to turn around.

But, I did get this one in Darlington, home of the Red Birds. Not as big as Landon's Rooster from the Indiana tag a couple weeks ago but it'll do for now:DSCF4890.jpg

i got a few to post here but will have to wait til I get home so Rich can do it cause I'm lost on how to get the pic in here

I have been meaning to get these for some time. They are right down the road from me. We really love our Prairie Dogs her in Colorado I guess.

I found these two critters in Guthrie KY during my tag week. They were within a 1/2 mile of each other.

Just gonna add this to the OVER SIZE AND ODDBALL ATTRACTIONS thread for now. Got this shot last week (8-8-09) in Wakefield, Michigan. .DSCF5621.jpg

Peter Toth, Hungarian sculpture, has created 60 of these Indian statues, at least one in each of the 50 states. Read all about it here. Seems to me these make a great addition to our Unusaul Attractions. Enuff of'em that maybe they could have their own thread after a few get collected.

Anyway, here 'tis. Hope it works better than my "PIE!" thread. :(

Met this fellow on the ride home from YooperSTOC. It was getting too dark to get the bike in the picture. The name of the town should be obvious...
