I think the pegs are lower. I've drug both mine on the the '24 Tour. You can't lean it like you can the ST. I want to lean the Wing more, but it's just not possible to ride it like the ST.

Big difference between the Tour and Non-tour editions. Mine was a non-tour that is lower and much easier to drag the pegs. If you own the Goldwing Tour you wouldn't understand how low the bike is until you ride one. Can't understand all this "Peg dragging" on the new Wing. I have ridden all over Europe (Istanbul being the furthest from home ) , one up and two up - have NEVER touched a peg down , and I don't ride slowly (we have lots of nice twistly small bumpy roads in Ireland .... etc). Maybe when I have more miles on it , I will have got used to it and go round corners faster ? But the first 36,000 miles have all been fine. I do fancy a ride on the new Guzzi Stelvio , but suspect it would not be as good a touring bike as the wing ??
Mike, no argument from me but Honda lists the ground clearance as 5.1" across all 2018+ Goldwing models. The part numbers are the same between models for the parts that make up the footpegs. It doesn't appear the Tour rides any higher than the non-Tour. Suspension adjustment is easier on the Tour of course - just push a button instead of cranking the preload wheel. Two Up with Luggage at the touch of a button. Body position makes a huge difference and pictures or videos of Yellow Wolf show how far off he had to hang to get around tight corners as fast as he did.Big difference between the Tour and Non-tour editions. I'm not bragging and claiming to be a Rossi type rider. It wasn't just the pegs that drug, but the bottom of the belly pan I put on the bike. I drug the center of the Traxxion Dynamics skid plate......the center, while hitting a dip in the road. I have witnesses that saw the sparks fly and I had a groove down the center of the plate.
Believe it or don't believe it, it's your call but it is in fact true.
Mike
wisdom comes with age.I probably should have cranked up the preload or leaned off the bike more
For a barely-broken-in GL, sounds like it to me.Found a 2021 with 59K on it but evidently with obsessive maintenance, never down, no scratches, has DCT and a few extras for $15,900 negotiable. Reasonable deal?
Goldwing Tour or Goldwing? Top case or none?Found a 2021 with 59K on it but evidently with obsessive maintenance, never down, no scratches, has DCT and a few extras for $15,900 negotiable. Reasonable deal?
A question for you GoldWing owners. Does the front end let you feel the front tire interact with the road? I'm big on front end feel and I worry with that double neck front end I wouldn't have much front tire feel.
I suspect you meant "too young" for a wing .................... did someone mention age ???? .... coughwisdom comes with age.
guess you're to young for a wing
It's been talked about in GW forums for about two years and as of three weeks ago it is official. There are 18,196 VINs affected and Honda has addressed 55 warranty claims since 2020. It's a stop sell for dealers with Goldwings carrying VINs in range.Anybody see this?

It’s a Gold Wing Tour, with the larger OEM top box.Goldwing Tour or Goldwing? Top case or none?
Sounds fair. The mileage means little and condition and service history line up.It’s a Gold Wing Tour, with the larger OEM top box.
How is your recovery going so far? Mine is scheduled in two weeks.Complicating things is that I’m just a week out of right knee replacement as of today so can’t test ride it or bring it home.
I’m on the expected schedule for recovery but this is a long-term endeavor. Pain is still significant but I’m up and around slowly on a walker. I should graduate to a cane this next week or so. Progress will speed up once swelling and pain drop off a bit more. How is your recovery going so far? Mine is scheduled in two weeks.
Have you reached the point where you're glad you had it done yet?
