Any changes/upgrades to your bike this winter?

I’ve been doing an alternator upgrade on my DNEPR/BMW, gotta say much easier to do than on a 1100. I got a new tub as well. I will be making a seat from scratch for the tub as well as floorboards. Going from a 180 W alternator to a 450 W unit opens the door to some farkles.
I hope to ride it through the Winter. ;)
Great to see a fellow sidecarrider!

just got the bike so not sure yet of all the issues but things that I do know
need to rebuild the forks (there leaking some)
do some break work one brake is totally stuck, rear one is sticking some
has an oil leak looks like valve cover gasket
its a 1991 with a 1998 engine in it

Great to see a fellow sidecarrider!
Thanks having a grand time with it, opening up a whole different world of riding technique.
The alternator has been upgraded, the new tub installed, seat cushions made. ;)

I am going to:
1) Check valve clearance and replace shims as necessary
2) Synch Starter Valves
3) Change Fork Oil and replace seals, dust caps etc.
4) Check and possibly replace Steering Head Bearing with ALL Balls Tapered bearing Kit.
5) Check all wheel Bearings while I have her torn down and replace if necessary
6) Replace Headlights and Indicators with Lightenupgrade Switchback kit.

Winters and long and Brutal up here in Canada, so if I can't ride her I have to find other ways to spend time with her.

Only had one opportunity to testdrive in the dark (same here, long winter) and the light was.... not so fantastic!
