There has been several news stories about that decision which have left me curious about how the decision was made. Every single health expert / sleep expert / researcher that was interviewed stated that going to standard time permanently is the better choice as far as peoples health, sleep patterns, circadian rhythm, etc., goes. I can understand why B.C. would choose to stop the biannual time changes. It does seem strange however that they would ignore the advice of all of the experts, whom I am certain that they consulted at great expense, and choose what those experts consider to be the wrong time standard to adopt permanently.British Columbia has decided to move to daylight savings time permanently so theoretically this was our last time change. Should be interesting to see how this pans out....
that it's not serious.
