Do these spacers look correct? And does anyone else have taller spacers like this on the 2 foreword mounting bolts? They sit on the shorter spacers that are used on all 4 mounting bolts. As I mentioned earlier, I assume these taller spacers are there merely for aesthetic purposes—to “level” the box.
I don't think it matters. What that does is change the angle of the topcase. Just make sure your passenger (if you have one) isn't getting the hinged part of the case in their back.
The spacers (item1) are there from the factory,With or without top box.
They sit beneath the grab rail.
Spacers (item13) come with the kit. They sit under the metal plate. They are 8mm thick.
They are "spacers" to go between the original plastic rack cover and the metal topcase adapter plate. In these pictures, the adapter plate is upside down.
