If you see me silently staring into my cup, I’m not daydreaming...
I’m waiting for the caffeine to upload... :coffee:

G'Day...

13°/18°C, mostly sunny, rain in the afternoon and into the night... ☀️🌤️🌥️🌦️🌧️

unruly night, ze GF had some "fit"... window open... window closed... duvet on... duvet off...
got up the first time around 0400hrs... went back to bed tried to snooze... not much use though... 😖
gave up around 0500hrs and brewed my first cup... :coffee:

office Nescafé as second dosage... ☕

TGIF, gonna head to the shed in the afternoon, swap the license plate over, perform a test ride with the '94...
if that passes (which I'm optimistic on), I'll leave the '00 there for carb overhaul/rebuild and pre-MOT inspections...

ST's don't like to be grounded for longer periods, so the '94 has to get some miles on, gonna be my commuter for a couple of weeks...

weekend at ze GF's place, some garden work, plotting the routes for Sweden, relaxing...

gonna be over in the blink of an eye anyway... 😒

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Martin.

swap the license plate over,

As fussy as Austria is about other things, it surprises me to learn that you can move a plate between bikes. In Maryland the plate is tied to the VIN, and hence to make, model, model year, color, etc. Any time the vehicle is in contact with officialdom they check to confirm the match.

It's 70°F in Rockville and dark but reportedly clear. Sunny and 96 are expected at the peak. Humid too, I expect.

Probably foolishly and unwisely, I'm on for a round of goof starting about 10:45. Lots of fluids will be consumed, and I may aim shots toward the trees to get some shade.

My computer is failing to connect to the interweb once again. I've already shut down and restarted it, the router, and the router extender to no avail. I'll wait a bit then try all those things again before getting Verizon involved.

But I won't be streaming any television while I wait, except possibly as a test to ascertain whether it is just my desktop or multiple devices that are affected by the outage.

It appears that I have access to devices within the house, just can't get beyond the router to the wider world.

[EDIT: AHA. My VPN has a "kill switch" feature which cuts the computer off from outside contact when it detects something hinky and suspicious. Somehow that got tripped, despite the fact that the system was powered down overnight. Perhaps there was a goon lurking, and tried to get in, when I powered back up this morning. Resetting the kill switch has cleared everything up.]

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

We can run up to 3 vehicles (of the same class) on one license/registration; tax & insurance to be paid for the one with the highest HP rating (or with the largest displacement if its a motorcycle)
The crux: you're not permitted to park a vehicle without license plates on public roads... you'll need a garage space or private property for "storage"...

UK has it even worse, the license plate is issued to a vehicle already upon arrival at the dealer/importer, and will stay with it until scrapping...

They're after you... watch out for black helicopters... ;)

Morning fellas.
Roz has a passion block early this morning, and is not allowed to drive, per the doc. Supposed to help with her disk cushions in L3-L4.
If not for that, I'd be pounding the Snooze button, no doubt.
So, no hubcap for breakfast with the boyz.
I almost messed up already today... saw that only Martin and Keith had posted, and I was about to start tapping thoughts on the little screen, and realized -- What Am I Doing!? Ain't had no coffee yet!
Poured the first cup, and now I'm feeling a lot less dangerous.
"Whew!"
That was a close one!
The bourbon tasting I thought was last night, is actually Monday night.
Good thing I didn't go last nboys.
Hot today, no rain. Summer's here, and lovin' it.
Couple of things to do this weekend, just can't recall, at this moment.
Reckon the coffee hasn't uploaded yet.
Don't let 'em stick a needle in your back today.
EDIT: you stoopit autocorrect!
It's a PAIN block, not a "passion" block!
What a maroon.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 71f*/21c in MA this morning, heading to 90f/32c.
The mostly cloudy sky will become partly cloudy, later.

We had about a dozen cars at the Club day yesterday and the early end didn't happen. One or two drivers wanted to stay till the bitter end so we did as well. We had two groups of drivers, and no more than 4 cars on track at any one time. Things petered out after lunch, with only one or two cars on-track.
Afterward, we went to a light dinner at the restaurant across the street, and then shopping for a new folding lawn chair that we'll need this weekend.
I got a little packing in, and I'll finish in a bit.

Today, we'll pack Brenda's car and head out to Plattsburgh, NY for our daughter's open house. She and her husband bought thier first home, there, and are celebrating with a family party. Most of the others will be staying at the same campground that their motorhome is parked at.

Have a great day,
Steve
