Boy has this project been a pain in the butt.
All connections checked again. Air filter back on. No fuel cut valve. Previously removed.
Opened hanging fuel tank valve, key on, pushed starter. It tried to start but only did so when given a bunch of throttle.
Almost idled. Not quite. I think the idle adjustment may have gotten out of wack. Will need to turn that up.
A gas leak again noticed when air cleaner removed. On the rubber mat and to rear of engine.. No idea from where. Maybe due to not having tightened the boot screws yet?
When carbs came off again to investigate, cylinders 3 & 4 were full of fuel. No idea why. Have not noticed that before.
Time to walk away again and look forward to advice from you guys.
