Likewise. HVMP had a sale on the Extra Heavy Weights awhile back and I noticed a difference right away. There seemed a slight decrease in buzzy-ness but it was much longer before my hand started going numb. I say numb but it was more the pins and needles thing. They (EHW) do look a little clunky but I got over that pretty quick.
I'm curious also. Have you tried anything yet?
So my bike already has Heli-bars, I also have an aftermarket seat with a back rest. I was always sitting more forward, my back rarely touched the back rest. So I played around with the Heli-bars. Tilted further back and higher...now I sit up straighter and my back is on the backrest. Very comfortable and felt better on the hands. One of the guy's here mentioned HVMP bar ends. I wasn't sold on that idea and was reluctant to pay $100.00 to find out if that was the answer. So on the advise from a friend, I got some used tape on wheel weights and taped them on the factory bar ends. I started off with 16 oz, it was an improvement. So I added another 2 oz...normally after 40 minutes on the bike my hands are starting to go numb, but this time was different. So now I'm looking for 18 oz bar ends, for the time being I'm riding around with weights on my bar ends the size of Tennis balls covered in White Duct Tape. That's all for today's update, time will tell if I found the cure, but thanks for all your help.
