Yay! Stu is back!
We can put an end to all this conspiracy silliness that he had been abducted by aliens, or was swallowed by a whale while fishing.
If only we could devise an emergency trigger to broadcast a message to everyone, in the event of separation from our devices... to let everyone know we're still around.
"I'm not dead or locked away in a supermax prison. I only ...(fill in the blank.)"
The trailer dried out completely yesterday, as I left the lid open and the pop-up showers left us alone. Sunshine did the trick, after I had shop-vac'ed 2 inches of standing water out of the front of it, due to rains the night before.
Roz had a rough day yesterday due to her back pain. She is convinced all of this started by wearing worn out orthotics, even though the MRI shows degeneration in the disks between L3 and L4. She has an appointment to fit new ones this Friday.
So we missed the Allman Brothers tribute band last night.
Yard stuff can always wait you know.
No one knows that as well as me.
This morning will likely see me walking behind the new mower, even though I cut front, back and sides last week. You might say, I cut the grass all the way around the house.
And you would be right.
In addition to my newly-reinstated gym routine, I think I am inclined to take down and restore my 50yr-old Raleigh 10-speed, converted by me to a ...dunno. 18 or 21-speed? from the rafters in the garage, where it has been hanging safely and unmolested, to be sure I've allowed the tires and tubes sufficient time to dry rot.
Haven't looked at it in ages.
This is not due strictly to Keith's powers of inspiration (I still have no interest in learning the ukulele), but more to my finding exercise closer to home, without getting dressed in riding gear to go to the gym or getting in a car.
That always made me laugh (to myself, of course) when Roz would drive to the gym to walk.
Like, what - you can't walk in our (relatively) quiet neighborhood? You have to drive, to go walk?
Aren't you going to get sweaty, either way? We have a shower in the house, too, you know.
Let's enjoy our Saturday, whatever you do or do not. (Yoda said something like that.)
Yay! Stu is back!
