Good morning, your coffee is ready!

Sorry about leaving without a word, but I got sick.
I’m living with this condition called Myoclonus Dystonia, it’s not a problem 99% of the time.
But sometimes things cumulates, and down I go. Looks a lot like dyskinesis.

But I’m ok now, water under the bridge.
A lot of property maintenance awaits.

16˚c/61f, overcast, 30mph wind from northwest, no heatwave here.

Norway - England tonight.
Result will be 2-1, just saying.

Have a good one!
Stu

Last night at 23:10…. (Sun up 04:42, sun down 22:45)

Stu, you've been missed.

Thanks for the coffee, weather and photo. Yard stuff can always wait you know.

16 and sunny, headed to 24 later on. I started a weeks vacation this morning. Mrs. O had me doing tasks as of last evening. I can't wait to get back to work work in a week. :)

Have a great day everyone.

Obo.

Good Morning!
It's good to see you back, Stu. We missed you, and worried.

Thanks for the coffee start.

It's partly cloudy and 62, rising to 83, later.

I got out for a few hours on the Wing, yesterday, for a ride to the Quabbin reservior and back. 75 miles, in all, and it felt good to be back in the saddle. The foot isn't as swollen, so getting into my boot and shifting was better than the last time I was out.

We got a few text messages from our son, Joe, and the upshot is that we'll be visiting with them this afternoon

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning everyone-

Thanks for the coffee, Stoo, and WELCOME BACK. I hope your condition stays in remission for a very, VERY, long time. Like, permanently long.

It's 69°F and feels like 73 in Rockville. We got no rain yesterday, might get some this evening between 1800 and midnight. The rest of the day will be a mix of sun and clouds, high around 86 with high humidity making it feel a dozen degrees warmer.

Today I'll head for the eyewear store that carries my brand of frames and lenses (even though it's part of a chain, not all locations in the chain carry the same product mix) and put in an order for new lenses based on the prescription update I got on Thursday. This could be an errand I run by bicycle, especially since the location I'm headed to opens at 0900 so I can get about half my ride done, maybe more if I plan in some gratuitous miles, before it gets stupid hot.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Yay! Stu is back!
We can put an end to all this conspiracy silliness that he had been abducted by aliens, or was swallowed by a whale while fishing.
If only we could devise an emergency trigger to broadcast a message to everyone, in the event of separation from our devices... to let everyone know we're still around.
"I'm not dead or locked away in a supermax prison. I only ...(fill in the blank.)"
The trailer dried out completely yesterday, as I left the lid open and the pop-up showers left us alone. Sunshine did the trick, after I had shop-vac'ed 2 inches of standing water out of the front of it, due to rains the night before.
Roz had a rough day yesterday due to her back pain. She is convinced all of this started by wearing worn out orthotics, even though the MRI shows degeneration in the disks between L3 and L4. She has an appointment to fit new ones this Friday.
So we missed the Allman Brothers tribute band last night.
Yard stuff can always wait you know.
No one knows that as well as me.
This morning will likely see me walking behind the new mower, even though I cut front, back and sides last week. You might say, I cut the grass all the way around the house.
And you would be right.
In addition to my newly-reinstated gym routine, I think I am inclined to take down and restore my 50yr-old Raleigh 10-speed, converted by me to a ...dunno. 18 or 21-speed? from the rafters in the garage, where it has been hanging safely and unmolested, to be sure I've allowed the tires and tubes sufficient time to dry rot.
Haven't looked at it in ages.
This is not due strictly to Keith's powers of inspiration (I still have no interest in learning the ukulele), but more to my finding exercise closer to home, without getting dressed in riding gear to go to the gym or getting in a car.
That always made me laugh (to myself, of course) when Roz would drive to the gym to walk.
Like, what - you can't walk in our (relatively) quiet neighborhood? You have to drive, to go walk?
Aren't you going to get sweaty, either way? We have a shower in the house, too, you know.
Let's enjoy our Saturday, whatever you do or do not. (Yoda said something like that.)
Yay! Stu is back!

Good morning, all, and welcome back, Stu!! I'm very glad to know that you're OK! I'll second was has already been said: you were missed and we were quite worried!

It's a beautiful weekend here - sunny and quite warm but not as suffocatingly hot as it has been. The current temp of 20°C68°F will eventually rise to a high of 28°C/82°F with a feels-like of 31°C/88°F. Unfortunately, we're told that another "heat dome" is moving in and will blanket the entire country. "They" are saying we could experience a humidex of 46°C/115°F by Tuesday. Hope my AC doesn't conk out.

Welp, gotta get myself organized - I'm meeting a friend/former translation colleague and her husband for lunch at a nice outdoor restaurant in the middle of one of Montreal's prettiest (and biggest) parks, and then we'll be treated to a jazz quartet performance in which another of our translation friends is playing (she'll be on stand-up bass). Looking forward to it, should be lovely!

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning Stu, and WELCOME back!

And morning to the rest of the group, from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently 81F, heading for 100F (or higher). A slight breeze now, but later, the winds will be out of the W @ 9 to 12mph.

The meeting with the WeSTOC 30 Hotel Gal went well. Seems their contract is flexible and will accommodate the lesser number of attendees , we look like will be here. :cautious:

Today will be early starting for us, we will be attending a baptism for our neighbor's daughter. Then come home and take it easy. No need to go out in 100F and get heat exhaustion.

Breakfast was cold cereal. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
