I'm looking for a new pair of boots. I've worn out two pair of TourMaster Response boots and trid a pair of Pantagonia hiking boots. The soles wore out on the Response and the Pantagonia's are more of a winter boot and too warm.
I'd like some thing that may be resoled. Could be worn around the office with jeans or khakis. Comfortable for all day and commuter travel. I'd put in arch supports for my plantar fasciitus.
I'll be looking at a pair of Bates Leathers FastLane boots. I've seen some good reviews but the are rather old. They seem to be very well made, basically custom, long lasting and comfortable. He main complaint is they don't have the protection/armor that some boots have today.
I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with them? Or any suggestions on boots for commuting and general riding.
Thanks for your I put,
Jillsogw
