Thank you all for the input.
Looking back at the whole throttle issue from weeks ago, I went from not enough, to too much. There is no inbetween right now, I don't have to chop it to get the snatch, just have to roll it, on or off. The good news is having power all through the range again, assuming my loss was from a loose cable.
To funny.and for 14 years my KTM 950 was carb'd, and in all likelihood it still is
I always start with operator error as first cause, she was buttery smooth for 24k miles. The operator did something to cause this for sure.there's about a 99% chance it's not the bike
The nut at the clamp. I started working backwards from the grip. I may have put to much tension on everything around the tube and cables tightening up the heated grip instal. I took off a few wire ties, rolled the grip so the the least amount of tension on the tube from the wire, checked free play, and will be going out at first light with some wrenches.Which nut ?
