Another day older and deeper in debt.
Anyone else remember Guy Williams with a black hat, cape and mask?
I used to go to Saturday morning kids club at the cinema.... The Black Whip, Zorro, Flash Gordon and many more!
Oh, on my Navy (long) air engineering course, I was in the second or third course to do the "digital techniques" module as we now had the Westland Lynx, which had "digital circuits"......
Programming was included... on a Z80 tutor..... in machine code.....
Later I even did a course on programming in....... Basic.....
Duh.

Remember life without the microwave, this time was defined by reheating dinner and a cup of coffee
If you didn't get home on time, your dinner was either in the oven with another plate over it, or in the dog, depending on the boss's mood!!

We moved to a new (to us) house in Montreal in 1972 and within several days my youngest sister came tearing in to announce Helene of "Chez Helene" lived just down the street from us. Her new friends had brought her over to knock on her door and meet her.
The show ran from '59 - '73 and I watched it as a young kid, as did all my siblings.
