Does anyone have any experience with this suit? I would like to get some feedback as I am looking for a summer weight one piece suit to wear over shorts and a t-shirt.

Thanks,
Mike

Mine's been used 2 seasons - Great hot weather suit; but I also really like their all-weather Phantom too that Karen has had such bad luck with. I went up one size for comfort.

I'll be wearing it this weekend (even though my wife should wash it) :).

it does come in silver-pewter color for the '07 1300's

looks like a "cool" suit - (pun intended)

and if you buy a mesh jacket and pant seperate you'll spend about $200+ so it's comparable in price also

Actually it's BMW color :p: ......

I already have mesh pants and a Cortech GX Air mesh jacket. However, my mesh pants aren't big enough to cover shorts so I wear them as pants. This really limits activities like parks, walking, etc.... when its hot.

It doesn't take long for the suckage factor to go way up when hiking in riding boots and riding pants.

Thanks for the comments,
Mike

Looks interesting. I wear Olympia gear exclusively, but only use two piece. (AST / Ranger and Airglide jacket & pants) That way I can use mesh pants with the AST. When I get off the bike, I can take the jacket off.

bought mine this spring...absolutely love it!

I call it my "Chubby Elvis" outfit when I walk through the halls at work on the way in or home...even with my 'girth' and vertical challenged body, it fits nicely over work clothes and/or shorts and t-shirt.

Will be buying the Phantom this fall.

Unlike the Phantom, which isn't as quick as a Stitch to shed and don, the Stealth goes on and off as quickly as any jacket ;). I feel that a one piece is cooler than jacket and pants :bow1::D.

Hey I rode to Bentonville BMW and purchased a Stealth today. Really like it so far (after only one ride). Seems much cooler than the black pair of mesh pants and yellow GX Air it replaces.

Now I can wear shorts underneath the suit and can shed my riding gear when necessary. My old mesh pants werent' big enough to go over any clothes which prompted the change.

Now Padden and I are twinkies :headbang: Except he is much better looking than I am.

I'm going to resurrect a dormant thread....I purchased the Olympia Stealth suit on eBay and it arrived today. I have a 3/4 textile coat and textile pants that I wear when the weather is cool, but I wanted and needed something for when the temps climb above 80 and into the 100s here in Texas. I understand that in summer, in Texas, you are going to be hot but want to do what I can to stay with the ATGATT mindset.

The suit is new without tags...excellent condition. Got it for $150 in the pewter/hi-vis yellow. First impression is a quality made garment. Haven't ridden with it yet, but tried it on and found it extremely easy to pull on over my street clothes and shoes (love the zippers running UP each leg, to go with the long diagonal zipper down the chest and right thigh). I am 6-1, 200 lb and based on quite a bit of research and questions posted to others, purchased size XL. Fit is very good. Just a tad snug over jeans and a heavy shirt (which will NOT be the attire I wear under this suit) but definitely not 'noticably tight'. Plan is to wear a thin base layer, or just a pair of shorts under it in warm conditions and then it will be considerably looser fitting.

When standing, the legs are a bit long, but when sitting on the bike with the legs hit right at the ankle (which is as it should be). Arms are perfect, both on and off the bike.
As several people (both on this forum as well as others) have mentioned, I had to adjust the knee armor to get the proper placement. In my case, I raised them to the top of their three velcro slots. Elbow armor was in place once I adjusted the forearm straps. I'm not a big fan of the back pad...may wear or insert a better pad into the suit.

All-in-all, first impressions are very favorable and glad I made the purchase...especially at the price I got it at! Will give it a good road test once the weather warms up (we haven't made it out of the 40s in over a week now).
