Progressive Motorcycle Insurance

Does it mean they won't drop you for two claims within 36 months?
 ...could be. When I was doing insurance quotes last night, I realized that my accident was in June 2024. Oops...that's 22 months ago.

There's always (or almost always) insurance you can get. My FIL used to also sell high-risk insurance. You paid a fortune for it, but you were insured.

We were bundled with State Farm for over 30 years. Homeowners, 2 cars, and 3 motorcycles. A few claims over the years on all 3 with only two crashes(1 car & 1 MC). Just got dropped last November from all 3 policies with a call from the agent that they expired 2 days previous and will not renewed. We scrambled for coverage and were taken in by Progressive over the phone.
We used to complain that we were treated as a number. Well, you are...especially by the insurance companies. When you had an agent that actually did more than fill out paperwork, you could build that reputation that paid off when you needed someone to help you get a better deal. Now, you're a number. Period.

So if you feel like the insurance company has no loyalty for you...why should you have any for it?

Quick update. Just got off the phone with Farmers, Inc. They were @$500 over the cost of Progressive (Flo). Dairyland was @$200 less.

If you're old enough, you'll remember this quote. "It pays to let your fingers do the walking." ;)

(Note: If it seems like I have nothing better to do than sit at the computer, I don't. I'm supposed to sit with my foot elevated and iced after the foot surgery on Friday. So you'll have to put up with me till I can ride again. :D )

Right now, TN Farm Bureau looks like the winner hands down over Dairyland.
They don't have some of the minor coverages but they do have the main ones cheaper - maybe because I have my house and autos with them.
Waiting for a few more answers from them to verify that I am understanding the quote correctly.
If all goes well I will be 'kissing' Flo and her pack of thieving hoodlums goodbye! ;)

I wouldn't count on it!
I was a 'Platinum' Member - high ranking on their scale of 'those who pay in and do not have claims'.
I guess they moved me down to the 'Fool's Gold' level just before they kicked me off the bus.... ;)

The problem was there was no police report (I looked) because it happened on private property though they were called.
The local cops got me out of way quickly because I was from out of town so it would have probably not went in my favor.
When your own insurance company won't support you, pretty much a lost cause.
I had no damage on my ST1100 (just a mirror cover knocked off by the SUV) but the occupants of the SUV got a nice payout from Progressive for 'bodily harm' - as if my ST1100 really shook up a 6,000 lb SUV - and an outrageous repair bill probably faked from a friend.
Fraud - pure and simple and Progressive rolled over instead of telling them to take a hike!
Always get a copy of the report any if you can't get one at the moment and take pictures.

Great advice if possible - but since they didn't file one there ain't one.
And pictures would not have stopped Progressive from rolling over.
There was a very small ding in the front right fender above the wheel well.
