Helmets Putting a Sena SMH10 on a Shoei Neotec II helmet

Thanks guys, any advice on the sizing of the Shoei neotec?
the deal I'm getting is on an xl only, I have an idea from somewhere that the neotec 2 was a tighter fit than the neotec 1 but just wanted some advice from someone who has had both.
I hate having to return something I buy online so I'd like to get it right first time if possible, have to admit if I wasn't getting such a good deal I wouldn't be that interested because of the comms drawbacks,
the new Sena mesh system is probably better but it's the price of a decent helmet on it's own!!

This shim is for the Sena SMH10 Bluetooth headset. It's for helmets with thick shells and/or rims like the Schuberth C3, so the mount clamp will fit more like an "U" and not so much like a "V".
