Rear Tire Revolutions Post Bleeding

2005 ST1300 non abs…
Wondering if there should be a very slight drag on the rear wheel after bleeding the whole system. Laying alongside the bike and giving a solid kick gives me about little over 1 1/2 revolutions before the wheel stops turning.
Raising the smc immediately stops rotation and releasing it SEEMS to completely release the pressure, Brand new pads installed so I’m wondering if some is break in, natural level of resistance or if the smc is not fully releasing.
Any helpful advice for troubleshooting or solving this is appreciated in advance. Thanks.

1.5 to 2 revolutions is about normal. No way to measure how much shove in your solid kick compared to others. The ST1300 will never have a free wheeling set of wheels.

Sounds like you are good to go. I always found a bit of brake drag after I played with the pads and pistons until the bike had been around the block for a mile or two. Once everything was seated properly, I got the 1 1/2 - 2 revs if I gave it a real good kick. With new pads it might take a bit more than a mile or two to properly break (brake(?)) them in.
