Replacement horn on ST1100-Y (UK Spec)

Hm, I actually, did trim plastic little bit, totally forgot about it

What a fabulous job you have made of that! I can see that I have my work cut out then! It look like you've slightly angled the horn so it is not directly downwards, was that to avoid having to cut more plastic?
 
Dremel cuts
Yep. The lh mounting bracket is standard, the rh bracket was cut from the old cowl subframe, mirrored and welded when I was restoring the bike after the accident. But this bracket could be made from any piece of metal.

I used a L-bracket and bent one section in half ' longways'.
That allowed me to snuggly hose clamp it to the fairing stay and position the 'leg' out so I could bolt the horn to it.
I had to also trim the inner cowl on both sides to fit the Fiamms.
