Rotella and other diesel oils?

FWIW, I have a lawn mower that gets used year-round because grass never stops growing here.

I put whatever amount of 5W-30 in it when I bought it in 1997. Its never been changed in 29 years. I think I topped it off once.

Think I worry much about motor oil??

Thank you so much for writing this. I've felt so bad for not changing my oil in the last couple years on my lawn mower. Mower doesn't get used much at all. It still looks clean.

I feel so much better now.

P.S. Since I didn't see a lawn mower on the front of the diesel Rotella oil container, I didn't use Rotella in it. And yet, mysteriously, it still runs.
