I had the upper fairing off and now with it reinstalled the clock is running but I can’t set the time. Is it just too late and I’m not thinking straight? I pushed all the buttons but nothing changed. There were two plugs for it; a single bullet connector and a multi-pin plug. I’m sure they’re fully plugged in.

The key (switched power) needs to be on for the buttons to work, if I'm not mistaken.
Thanks Larry. I suspect it was a case of working too late and my head not working logically.

The time is set, the valves are adjusted, timing belt changed, clutch slave rebuilt, swing arm painted, headlights upgraded to LED, gas tank painted, rear wheel O-rings changed and lubed, final drive and motor oil changed, coolant hoses changed, thermostat and rad cleaned and tested, the kick stand is tightened up, the brake lights stuck on has been resolved and the aluminum has been polished. That’s enough for this winter. Let’s get the body panels on and go for a ride. IMG_3587.jpeg
