ST1100 Aux Lighting Brackets

Found a picture online that shows what it looks like with extra lights attached to both sides of the front fender. Does anyone have any pictures that can show how nice the lights on the «Engine Guard» have turned out?

Is there anyone here on the forum who has installed extra lights on the left and right "Engine Guard" ST1100 in a similar low position as the original extra lights on the K1600?

Yep, I've done just that. See the thread below. Mountings on page 3 - installation on page 2.

As I said. At the reflector brackets.
Are there reflector brackets on the engine guards? Seems Increasing was pretty specific.

I just checked out your kit. Very nice. I like that location. I've recently seen a couple of oncoming bikes at a distance with yellow (not amber) lights mounted very low like that. It's a very conspicuous sight. The bike really stands out in the daytime. I expect it would even at night where a bike's lights tend to get lost in a sea of headlights.

@ST Gui There are lots of bikes (all sorts of makes) in the UK and mainland Europe running similar setups. Some yellow light, like mine, some white light.
Like you, I feel that the yellow low light really stands out. We have ridden lots of miles since I fitted mine, in the UK and a trip down to Rome and another down to the south of Spain. It's very much my own perception but I, and my pillion, are convinced that we've seen a significant reduction in drivers pulling out in front of us at junctions when using these lights. I have absolutely no imperical proof of this but......

Thanks! Looks like there are several good solutions here for mounting extra lights :thumb: Do you get power for the extra lights from the "Accessory Fuse" 5A behind the fuse box / battery?

Are you thinking of aux lights on the engine guard location and under the mirrors?
For power you can run a fuse box and can power direct from battery with a relay and a trigger that can come from a power source that energizes the fuse block when power is switched on. I put one under my headlight. Not sure if you have room in the ABS bike.

Here are examples:

These are Honda ST 1100 police light brackets . I'm very happy with them - They are solid stuff , no shaking or vibrations.. Nothing on the bike gets litt up -nice clean light .I've got some Rigid led's on there -one spot and one with a wider beam. I have two bikes so they both got this treatment- one of each .
On the ST, I thought it would look strange at first , but they hardly get noticed. Be aware - some of the under mirror mounts involve - cutting plastic off the mirror housing. I couldn't get myself to do that
If you don't over tighten the locknuts they are easy adjust by hand -on the fly, if you need to.
Good Luck !
