... and this is my real name.
Good one. I was rushing myself to take a picture before of the hoses before removed...Hey Afan. Stuff some clean rags into those intake ports before you drop something in there!
Thanks.

Hi John,I doubt this is the source of your problem. The only way any gas is going to leak there is if one or more of the float bowl drain screws is not fully seated. Are they...?
John
+1My bet would be on a carb float that 'sticks' open then unsticks itself. Or could be a piece of trash stuck in the mechanism somewhere. IIRC, the ST1100 floats are hollow. See if one of them is pinholed (fills up with gas in use then empties while sitting). Just some guesses.
I was assuming that but couldn't find the #1 item to make the order. Lookit means you get both the o-ring and the gasket with one part number, so that answers your other question about the o-ring part number as well.
In researching the need to replace the upper to lower fuel tank hose on my ST13,,, I found this photo. Then I ordered the hose and clamps !! Cat'
Wow, I've not seen that pic before. Looks like an ST1100. Is there a story behind that?
I meant the story behind the burned ST1100.
They do not.Do ST1100's not have those ?? Cat
They do not.
