Nah, he doodles multi outdoor unit model numbers but then adds single indoor unit types to that... right... 😛

English-speaking nations have some green celebration today, of course copied by the local 'youth', abused as welcomed excuse for vandalism and raising ruckus...
on the other side the tree-huggers complaining green die poured in creeks, rivers, and other water bodies is harmful to wildlife and environment... go figure...
Law enforcement and EMTs on alert, Talahons vs locals, 'alcohol corpses' spread out across the city during the night... the whole program... great...

ze GF overdoing it at the gym yesterday, overzealous as usual, complaining about parts pinching here and there in the morning... 😉

In Rockville it's 31°F and apparently rather windy (I can hear it in the trees), with 18 mph from the W. We may reach 40, we may not, but thanks to the wind it'll never feel as if we have.

We had two or three episodes of absolute frog-strangling downpours yesterday afternoon and evening, with rainfall rates in the several-inches-per-hour range. Fortunately, they didn't last more than fifteen or twenty minutes per episode, with time in between for the runoff to disperse and let the storm drains clear. All told, they delivered about an inch and a quarter of rain.

Mrs. Fun called yesterday to let me know she'll likely come home this Sunday, after two weeks of churn and nowhere near as much progress as she had hoped. Three chiefs and no indians makes for a lot of round-and-round and little forward progress.

It was a year ago today that I received the shocking, stunning news of my oldest brother's passing. Yesterday evening, a cousin on my mother's side, from whom I seldom hear, called to check in and see how I was doing on the eve of the anniversary. It was very touching, and I was impressed at her sensitivity and thoughtfulness.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

It's an interesting weather day outside in my slice of the world. Still dark, but there's heavy winds and rain. Temps are 15C, and that's on the positive side, which is uncommon to say the least. It's muggy outside too. The combination of high winds (61kph sustained and 91kph gusts) and high temps has caused fog white outs. The white banks of you-can't-see-ship-in-front-of-you make driving treacherous. The winds, that deposit you into the other lane with their gusts, don't help. There's also lightning warnings. Power's flickered a few times so far, but stayed up. Temps are supposed to slowly plummet as the day goes on, the rain stop, and things re-freeze.

How's you neck of the woods doing this morning?

I hope you either work from home or take a cage to work today. Taking the 'Wing might not be the best option, though you'd earn major hardiness and style points.

I’ve got deducted 33% of some interest my son has paid the bank
I’ve got deducted some interest Mrs Stu has paid the bank.

My mind working at 10% capasity these days, it will take the day.

Although I've been known to ride into November & December (as long as there's no black ice) I usually wait until April or May to ride in the Spring, mostly due to all the grit on the roads, especially on off ramps and intersections. No one likes riding on marbles!

Mrs. Obo just called, and said my next door neighbour has a 75' tree downed on his house. I inquired if it was one of the trees in between our houses, but she said it was on the opposite side of his house. I'll text him later to see if everything's OK and he needs help or a chainsaw.
 
Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Martin. I'll take mine neat, thank you.

It's 36 and mostly cloudy, rising to 40 as the day progresses.
We got a good bit of rain and wind, yesterday, but it died out overnight.
We may get another shower or so this morning, but the rain should be gone by noon. 15-25mph wind will stick around, though.

We did the financial planner thing, yesterday, then visited with our son and family for a bit. All are okay, and the grandkids are growing like weeds.
Elouise continues to be an active, happy girl, and Oliver is walking and smiling constantly.
Joe and Megan have a bathroom project off of their downstairs bedroom, and after showing us the progress, we spent a bit of time throwing both kids onto their bed, like it was a trampoline. Elouise loved it, and Oliver even got into the act, although more gently.

On the cat front, Monica and Kailua are out and about, somewhere, having jumped the child fence overnight. Laguna briefly came out from under the futon last night, and appears to have eaten some of the wet cat food that we left back there. Slooooly...

And not many riders like riding on marbles, either.
All our "snow" from yesterday had cleared in time for me to ride home, but it's 28 now, warming to 45.
Tomorrow we're back to 60, and go up from there. 80 on Thursday. Just (hopefully) Ole Man Winter's last time to pitch a fit as he is ushered out of here by Springtime.
Our upstairs toilet kept trying to fill, and the float quit shutting it off.
So Friday I got an entire new drain valve and fill valve. Saturday - and again on Sunday - I spent most of the day trying to put it back together.
Putting it back together wasn't too hard, but the rubber donut that suits between the tank and the base keeps getting pushed down into the base, and spews water when the tank drains.
Huh. I didn't forget to add the story today, as I speculated yesterday.
Keith, it seems your cousin is familiar with your standard sign-off here.
Time to get out the Warm and Safe for the ride in, maybe for the last time. But I took off my Hippp Hands a bit to soon, it would seem.

Top o' the mornin' and a Happy St. Paddy's Day to all and sundry.

Who's causing my lights to flicker wildly and making all kinds of thud-bang-crash noises outside? Everyone knows it's Windy. You're welcome for the earworm. If you're too young to remember the song, just move along, nothing to see here. The rest of you, put your teeth back in and have another cup of coffee. Perhaps with a dollop of Jamieson or Irish Cream. Fiddle-dee-dee potatoes.

We had heavy, driving rain and some snow overnight; the rain seems to have stopped but now we have blowing snow. All the leprechauns out there had better hang on to their beards, because the wind's still going strong: 48 kmh/30 mph sustained, 74 kmh/46 mph gusts. Not as bad as where Obo is but mighty blowy, nonetheless. The current temperature is -4°C/25°F with a feels-like of -14°C/7°F and it will get colder from here.

Everyone have a good one, be safe, go safely and stay out of that wind! Hmmm...now where's that bottle of Jamie?

Good Morning, thanks Martin for getting us going. Happy St Patrick's day, now do I have anything green to wear? Oh yeah I have a green coat. Weather, Monsoon out there, 30 mph winds 1.25" rain in the last 24 hours.85" expected in the next 24 hours. 48 C with a high of 54 C . Today's agenda take out the garbage, and a Lab appointment at 10:40 Doc wants me to have a ECG, and suck some blood out of me. Cheers G
 
Morning all! Grey and rainy here. 9C with 11C to come.

Day 2 of burning excess leave before fiscal year end. Managed to get the weight rack put together yesterday and a decent start on the wood wall stringers to attach it too. Hopefully will get those up and painted today.

Commiserations Keith. No doubt the hole left by his passing remains deep.
