On our last trip to NatSToc Uncle Larry turned 100,000 miles on his VFR. I think that is an incredible milestone for a sport bike like that.

Also he is no spring chicken either!! :old1: :D

I say congratulations to the VFR for putting up with Uncle Larry for 100,000 miles, that's quite an accomplishment!!!

Seriously, way to go Uncle Larry, especially with all those raccoons out there trying to slow you down!

That IS a great milestone! Anyone that can ride hunched over on a crotch rocket for 100K must be deficient upstairs! Congratulations Mr. Clark! Y'all should have experienced the quick witted Larry at NatSTOC this year. He was on a roll. Had Padden laughing out loud. The yellow beak has to go!

Thanks guys. The VFR is such a fun bike to ride, it's an easy pick for trips and the miles pile up quickly. Besides, you need something like that to keep up with 970 Mike in the twisties...

Sort of.... It attaches to a metal plate I made to go under the kickstand in soft earth. The string reminds me that it is there so I don't ride off without it---and makes it easier to place under the stand without dropping the bike....

Coordination isn't my strong suit....:D

Larry,

Wow 100k on a VFR, how many of those were riding in the ditch?

Somewhere in Wyoming, Larry makes an unexpected right turn, damn raccoons:)
