Uncle Larry turns 100,000 miles on his VFR

On our last trip to NatSToc Uncle Larry turned 100,000 miles on his VFR. I think that is an incredible milestone for a sport bike like that.

Also he is no spring chicken either!!

Thanks guys. The VFR is such a fun bike to ride, it's an easy pick for trips and the miles pile up quickly. Besides, you need something like that to keep up with 970 Mike in the twisties...

The VFR does the job better in the really tight stuff. The Blackbird loves sweepers but it is a real workout in the tight stuff. It can do it if the front tire holds....

In post #7, is that a string running from the clutch to kickstand?

Sort of.... It attaches to a metal plate I made to go under the kickstand in soft earth. The string reminds me that it is there so I don't ride off without it---and makes it easier to place under the stand without dropping the bike....

Coordination isn't my strong suit....
