WA to AZ and back

Another fantastic day on the road. Left Goodyear at 7am. Headed thru Flagstaff and up to Page. All went great except when I went West on 40 instead of east to pick up 89 North to Page. Oh well, just an extra 64 miles to add to the mileage tracker...:)

Have never been thru this area. Need to come back and spend more time!

In UT now, South of SLC. Put down about 700 miles today. A little more to go till I'm in my own bed. Mmmmmm. My own bed!

Sorry but no more pics today.....just hammer time over roads already traveled.

But I do have some stats for you.....

Left 100 miles south of SLC this morning at 5:07am. 35 degrees....darker than the inside of a cow. Really light traffic...Sat am.
Headlight on low beam is not enough light, flip on high beam and adjust headlight down with the adjuster....perfect. Left it on till the sun came up two hours later.
Soon after leaving the hotel it was 30 degrees.....bbbrrrrrrrrr. Rode for the first 4 hours in temps between 33 and 39 degrees. Didn't warm up to 50s until lunch time.

Didn't have a plan, just wanted to get as close to home as possible. Are you ready.......?

Pulled into my garage exactly 12 hours and 47 minutes later........and 959 miles later. Ha.... Take that all you Iron butt folks! :). I should have done the extra 41 miles for the full 1000.

Gotta love I-84 and those 80mph limits...:bow1: :06biker:. Darth was a champ! Now to get him all cleaned up again!

Last post....thanks for reading. ToddC

Wow! Nice going and glad the ride was safe. Bet your glad to be able to climb into your own bed!

Dang Todd, sorry I missed your adventure! (head buried with new grand baby I guess)

Looks like you had a good ride!

As for the London Bridge picture, you can just put your bike in over mine! ;)

LondonBridge.jpg This was about the best I could do to get the bridge in a picture with my bike!
