John,
I assume you mean registered at ST-Owners.com——-which I am but it still says:-
Oops, we ran into some problems.
The requested page couldn’t be found.
Still, Thanks

Larry Fine, Jim Van,
I can’t say I’ve experienced any handling issues with my ST but for almost as long as I can remember, vibration through the right handlebar( the twist grip) has been VERY troublesome to the extent that after perhaps 1hr. of riding I have to take my hand off the throttle for (depending on traffic etc.) my hand to recover from the vibes.
After an hour of riding, I HAVE to do this maybe every 15 mins. of riding.
The high frequency vibes can become almost painful and is the only fault that I find with my ST.
Check the tightness of the handlebar holder bolts.

Jrp,
I assume you mean the 2 clamps holding the bars but, yes, the clamps are tight.
Brit bikes were (in)famous for low frequency vibes but Japanese bikes have high frequency vibes.
In the 80’s, I had a CB 750 FA and after riding that bike for an hour or 2, my fingers gradually became a deathly grey colour and I could keep my hand on the very hot engine without feeling anything.
As much as I love riding my ST, the right handlebar vibes after an hour or so spoil it but I’ve “almost” got used to it.

Regards,
Graham Watson

No, the link is to the other ST forum, ST-Riders.net, the original internet ST communications source and home of the public ST1100 and ST1300 Archives Of Wisdom (AOW).

I kind of assumed you were registered there if you could view Paul’s link in post #53.

John,
Sorry about the delay in replying.
I don’t recollect joining ST-Riders.net and so when I attempted to join/register, it told me that my name, e-mail address is registered elsewhere ( ST Riders.com) and that my e-mail address is also being used elsewhere but my e-mail address is the only one that I have.
Consequently, I am unable to register at ST-Riders.net.
I apologize for any inconvenience that I am causing to view what you sent me.

Regards,
Graham Watson
