It's wet and there's coffee - ahhhh

The soothing aroma of French Roast. Have a cup, or two, or more. I won't judge.

It was a cage day due to the rain. 13C and dark, headed to 16. Kinda blech, but the coffee? Ahhhhh

Yesterday's ride home was wet, especially when I got boxed beside an 18+ wheeler that was flinging so much spray to the side I might as well have been sitting in a drive thru car wash. Hope @Weaselinsuit 's ride home was less dramatic.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Obo.

It's 54 and cloudy here in MA , rising to 67 and staying cloudy all day.
At least it stopped raining!

Yesterday, I made it to the gym, and not much else.
The rain was off and on all day.
We stayed home for dinner, and Brenda made meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Today, I'll head over to the barber, and continue to the gym.
I see that we've run out of dried catfood, so a small shopping trip may be in order.
Brenda will bowl this evening, so I'll have a chance to reduce the leftovers in the fridge.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the French roast, Obo.

It's 59°F and mostly cloudy in Rockville. No rain has fallen, or is expected to fall, here today.

I got started yesterday afternoon on a very small project, making some ukulele stands for someone in my club who asked for them after seeing mine. The work is more cutting and sanding than anything else; it hardly classifies as "woodworking" and certainly doesn't meet my personal definition of "joinery". Ill finish the sanding and shaping today, then apply finish tomorrow. Which reminds me, I need to ask what his preferences are in that regard.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Hey @Obo, thanks for the FR. It's been a minit since I had any of that.
I spent my posting time this morning, scouring the interwebs for a used KTM baby bruiser instead.
Big Rock Moto is a YouTuber out west in CA and buys bikes for review on his channel. Many of his reviews are pretty good compared to the more commercial enterprises like the online moto-mags, although I also like Zach Courts of Revzilla, and his daily rider videos.
So now that I have reached my time limit for surfing and slurping, i should get us to work.
Wish I could figure out the dollars for our N+1 formula, but this time it looks more like
N-1+1.
I'm sure gonna miss my big -1.
Must remember "it's just a thing".
Even if it is a nice thing.

Morning Obo & All from a wet morning in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 52F, up from 49F and heading for a wet 64F. We got 1.02" of rain yesterday which is not normal for us, but we'll take it. We even had snow in the upper reaches of Brianhead. The winds have been blowing pretting all night, from the NNE @ 3 right now. Later, they'll be between 12 & 21 mph.

It's totally amazing the difference in two weeks weather. Our area pretty much got pounded yesterday and we should get some more today, we'll see.

It looks like the fridge will require a major part replacement. Which of course means $$$$$$

Today I have a follow up dr appt, for the lab tests they did. And then after that, Chris wants to hit the local market for a "case sale" going on.

We are boiling the eggs now, then we'll eat. Pepsis are on ice.

Yep, they do, but I haven't seen any like ours, Our "Builder's Special". And because it is 6 years old (from ordered by builder) they have changed them, so I can't just buy the "fridge" by it's self.

Morning all! Decidedly wet and grey here. 13C now, 16C later.

I was lucky Obo, the ride home was ok. Dark clouds threatened but I managed to get home before the wet stuff started to fall. The ride was surprisingly bereft of the normal volume of traffic and I managed to hit almost every light green. Those are the days to be treasured..... Though I don't mind riding in the rain, my gear keeps me nice and dry and I think....knocking on wood...that I have solved the visor fogging issue (They don't make pinlocks for my current helmet visor...at least not that I can locate).

Good morning everyone and thanks Obo for the start. You keep the rain to yourself, we get a week of mostly sun. Currently at Hawaii freezing temp of 70 with a high of 84.
My little desktop cube computer went yesterday, so it's ssd drive is slaved to a laptop temporarily. I don't like using Windows and this drive has Linux on it. Adapt and overcome.

Yard work and painting will be today's entertainment.
