Where did you ride today?

Well the wife has to work late today and the weather is great 43 to start the day here in Lompoc, I saw a high of 90 this afternoon just east of highway 246 on 154 near Santa Ynez. I went to Santa Barbara and then Jalama Beach for a burger.

@ToddC I even road the black ST for you to imagine that it was you down at the beach enjoying the views of all the surfers and bikini clad young ladies!!

I thought the season was over up here . We've had nice weather lately , and thought I'd stretch the ST legs. A planed 20km ride became 150km - out to the coast to see if I could buy some live crabs. No crabs (might have been a little late ), but a nice ride !
Oh- and I put the stock seat back on - not bad - butt for me , the RDL is the winner .

Went for a test ride of my last Mod,made my own handlebar Rizer . 81 Silverwing upper triple clamp that I tried making a antivibration mount was the donater for the Rizer stands(worked but wasn't safe). No pictures of the ride, but happy , no sore wrist and elbows
 
Left FLaSToc yesterday on my way to left coast. Had to camp at Anahuac, Tx. in rememberance of Krazy Karl. :)

There is always one more day before the winter storage right? Double bonus today. I was taking this pic and a red ST1100 zooms by. Gotta catch up. I think it is @Malks as I know he’s from the area. He looks like he is on a mission and I have to get home and finish the yard work. My guess is he is going for the Ontario A-Z. I was gonna too but forgot if we were up to M, N, or O. Hope you got it Malks well at least I hope it was Malks :biggrin:

Yes it was me and I got a few letters just to be sure. Nice meeting you on the road and riding along for a while. I think that might have been my last ride for the season. You never know though, there might be a nice day or two later this month. Take care and ride safe!

It was great to see another ST1100 but a red one made it awesome! You should have seen the grin on my face. It was great chatting with you at the stop lights. Hope you get another ride in before the salt goes on.

Considering the vintage of our bikes, it is very rare to see another while out on the road. I continued on and picked up a couple of letters for the A to Z Game and posted the N yesterday and then the P today. Here's the O that I got as I arrived home. I've also parked the bike in preparation for hibernation, but if there's a good day it's pointed towards the garage door.

So @970mike keeps postings these sweet Californ I A pictures of the ocean and bragging about 90 degrees out there. I only had 86 on the Florida ride aroundabout but I did get a pic of the other ocean. The Atlantic ocean as seen from the Lagerheads bar and grill north of Ormond Beach. I did about 9 miles of A1A and the ocean view was great! 1043 miles for the quick overnight ride.

Edits, oops named the wrong ocean!

I only saw 79 yesterday on my ride, I did not take any pictures. This morning it is starting at 37 at the house.
