I had great plans to do an all day ride today, but it felt so good to be lazy...and warm...inside the house. Eventually, the outside temps rose enough and I decided to see somewhere with twisty roads that I hadn't seen before. In this case, it was Lake Margaret, up in the hills east of Duvall.

The roads heading out that way had some nice curves. The trees are beginning to bloom, so I expect the branches to be full shortly.

As you all know I don't ride as far as Russ. But it was a very nice day today. Sunny with temps around 59F so I put the bike back together and went for a ride. I had a few parts under the seat removed to facilitate me sizing and cutting metal tubes for a trailer hitch that I am making. I did have a destination today. I was headed to the state DOT office to register my new-to-me trailer. Rode a total of 37.0 miles today.

A brisk sunny 71 F here in Louisiana today with weather declining soon so I rode my new to me Goldwing across the Texas border to enjoy 75 mph speed limits on TX state highways. I managed to squeeze @ 250 miles round trip, beautiful day .

try going south then turn to north. Less circling around the corn cribs.

I usually ride 5 miles, get lost, and ride 95 miles trying to get home!!
