Where did you ride today?

I rode from Bend, OR to Heyburn, ID after attending the BMWOA National rally in Redmond, OR over the weekend.

Shortest day of the year here ( New Zealand ) The sun was out so a ride along the Kapiti Coast

I went about 270 miles in the Ozarks. Took the big girl up the Pig Trail, over to Boxley Valley and down Highway 21. Left the house at 0515 to try to beat the heat. It was 73 at the house, 65 in the mountains and 86 when I returned home.

I took the Versys out for a spin after I parked the Wing. I believe the Wing has spoiled me to the point where the Versys might be put on the chopping block. The Versys is a great bike but I'm not sure I have the niche that the bike fills. Life has been complicated this year and I might have jumped the gun on this one. It happens. Maybe my next life I will do better........oh, wait.

I’m finally on my way home from Newstoc and then a weeks worth of work at my brothers places.

Going feel like home camping here tonight in central Mississippi. D’lo water park. The water is dripping off my neck as I type.

I rode to motorcycle lunch Tuesday at the local bbq joint. Fifteen of us were in attendance. Good food, motorcycle talk, and other valuable BS. The ride home was a little warm at 102 degrees.

Some coffee have closed the road south of Dawson city. May have to go the long way around through AK. We were planning on returning that way. Hopefully some rain will settle things down in the next day or so. Oh well! We will see.

We are in Dawson Creek, BC. Going to fort Nelson, BC today. Probably go to Watson Lake YT before we have to decide how we are going to get to Dawson city.

I wish it wasn't 1500+ miles to get to just the start of the Dempster, but it is what it is. Bears and trees! The Tuareg is turning out to be very capable of eating the miles. My butt, not so much. The seat is not that comfortable.
Interesting finding.. My friend on a GS is using about 30% more fuel than I am.
Here is the Peace River valley. Big river!
