I have a bolt on version of this on my super tender and it works great. This is a clamp on version.

Thanks.
Was actually wondering about the smaller ones we see more and more around, that fit up in the middle of the screen, like on the pix (and also more in my price range...!)
But this MRA X-Creen looks looks like a solid replacement for a Laminar Lip. Looks adjustable as well? How long have you had it?
Another option for the budget biker....

Very happy with my Laminar Lip but I know it will fly off from its velcro attachements sooner or later!
I bought one of those 'budget' models from Amazon. It's made well, goes on easy, is adjustable and works very well... I could create a nice pocket of calm air around my head. The only negative thing, and it's a major one, is that the center clamp is right in the middle of my vision when mounted on my taller screen. In normal riding, I look just over the top of the screen and that clamp is right where I look, therefore I took it off, reluctantly. I need to try it on my shorter screen and see how it works.
Thanks. Makes sense. Would not work for me either. May have to wait until our fearless leader decides to put his MRA X-Creen for sale to be able to afford it.
I've had my 'Lip on for 4 years, and never had it "fly off".
You can order new velcro's from Laminar also.
The Laminar Lip is great, wouldn't ride the ST without it !
HA!!!!!!!
Yeah, w/clamp on you can resell... I just took a chance w/bolt on.Need some advice. I've never had a deflector, so this is a new gadget. I think previously you said you had a bolt on? Is there any reason not to get a clamp on? I am just thinking that if I get a bolt on and don't like it, now the holes are there. By the way, I have a Clearview screen (if that matters).
Recently fitted one of these to my ST1100 and am delighted with it. £25.00 from ebay bolonimotorsports.I ordered one of these on Ebay for $31.xx(clamps on top edge) I have a homemade one on my Vstrom that works like magic. I've made 'em for many of my bikes. But for this price, it's a no brainer to just buy one, IF the hardware isn't junk. (It's from China, and 3 weeks or more to receive)Also got a used Helibar mount, gen 2. The ST bars are unbearable for me, and the windshield creates SO much turbulence when it's up fairly high. I want the wider width down lower, and with the screen high, getting behind a semi truck is downright scarey!!! It's like a sail! Anyhow, these 2 items should make my new to me ST1300 bearable.

Is that the clip on type? How's the brackets? Metal or plastic? Ya' think it'll hold up okay? Spoilers do an amazing job.....yours looks great!!Recently fitted one of these to my ST1100 and am delighted with it.
Mounts are allen screws with plastic mountings with rubber grips at the fix point and they are great. Just done a 500+ mile trip to Wales and back and it was brilliant - I look over the top but it can be adjusted several ways (see website) and they even supply the allen keys! comes clear or tinted. Just added the pilot's eye view for you.Is that the clip on type? How's the brackets? Metal or plastic? Ya' think it'll hold up okay? Spoilers do an amazing job.....yours looks great!!
