WoodSToc 2 - Aug 15-18, 2024 - Mazerolle Settlement, NB

it isn’t everyday that you see a photo of someone harvesting roadkill.

Nice memories.

That was the 2nd staged photo. He wasn't Happy Rob in the 1st photo. The porcupine carcass didn't put up any struggle like he was expecting it to.

All nice memories indeed! Pity it was so short.

Got home last nite. Good ole ST never skipped a single beat.

6702 miles in total. Whew!! This was my welcoming committee, within the last mile before my house.

Cherie and I pulled into our drive about 5:45 this afternoon, Cherie is picking tomatoes right now. The bike performed flawlessly our bodies are a little tired though. I see a new front tire before the next big ride and an oil change. Thanks to everyone for making it a memorable August. No picture of large wildlife but I could post photos of an overgrown lawn ;)

Art, that's amazing. It just is, referring to the distance and your stamina. The moose is pretty cool too!
Btw, the Canada Post tracking info says your mug will show up on Monday, but we know they're lying again, 'cause Monday's a holiday.

Gerhard, you and Cherie certainly know how to grow tomatoes, well done.
And, I gotta say you two apparently have a knack for planning and executing a memorable motorcycle vacation. Worthy of a magazine article!

Wow do those tomatoes ever look good - good enough to eat!

I had a video camera attached to the helmet and the software is able to edit videos automatically so here is a short video from the camera. In time I will try to make a coherent video of the trip.
