No matter what you are, we hope to see you here!

Rest assured it's going to be a fun time. You'll see things you never imagined, never mind seen before! Obo and I agreed I'm to plan the Friday ride, and he'll look after the Saturday route. I do have a promising start, especially because I know how important food is to everyone... as always, more later.

more later.
And now some more water has passed under the bridge. We have some details for the Friday ride: Breakfast to be at https://www.portersdiner.ca/. Followed by a tour of: https://loscabosdrumsticks.com/about-us/
The next item isn't confirmed just yet. However lunch will be in the middle of nowhere! https://exploreflorencevillebristol.ca/services/village-pour-house-bar-and-grill/ The afternoon stops are still up in the air, (mustn't forget Dairy Delite) but when I get something down to earth, I'll mention it, and you'll like it! (you don't have a choice, actually) The road to the Pour House, incidentally, is just so much fun! My riding buddy Kenny and I made the best of it this afternoon. Well beyond entertaining, it was! Gravel? Of course not, and very few straight stretches ,btw.

That Facebook link is to a Village Pour House Bar in Juniper Station N.B. The website link on that Facebook page links to a Village Pour House Bar in downtown New York City.

Thanks for pointing that out! And "out" is where I put it. I think the replacement link is better. Try it. And I'll buy your lunch when you're there with us, as a reward...

Called Dena a few days ago [506-461-8582] to confirm my cabin, using my credit card. She gave me the option of paying just 50% for now, or the full amount. So I just paid the full amount - get-er-done...

Been thinking about the advertising and promotion aspect of the upcoming WoodSToc event. I was pleased to discover the latest issue of "Motorcycle Mojo" in my box at the post office this past Friday. Why? Aside from the obvious, that being it's a great bike mag, I read Glenn Robert's column describing riding in the Maritimes. "Canada's East Coast is one of my favourite parts of our country." says he. Wow, just what I need, a professional opinion regarding the beauty of riding along the St. John River Valley, as well as the charm of the Bay of Fundy area. You'll need a subscription to read his article, https://motorcyclemojo.com/issues/ but coming and enjoying are yours for joining in! Btw, I highly recommend this publication, online, or print. Mr. Roberts also makes mention in his column of " Motorcycle Tour Guide - Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada ", available via Google Play and Apple App store.
So, come one, come all ! You won't be disappointed!

Yes, I agree with you totally, great area to ride. I’ve been out a few times on a bike and a few in the car. Can’t make it this Aug. I may be out there in sept with the car. Weird how some events attract many riders and others small numbers. Sure they are great either way. People are missing out on a really nice area to visit.
Have fun!

Might that app be called Ride Atlantic Canada? I can't find one using the name that you referenced.

OK, I see why. The magazine is called Motorcycle Tour Guide - Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada but their app is called Ride Atlantic Canada in the Google Play Store at least.

Thanks Andrew, for your input and clarification.
Worth mentioning, is the delightful lack of traffic on most routes in the maritimes, allowing riders to "own the road"! The exception of coarse, is urban burden, where there are lots of city dwellers, sigh.
I promise to provide lots of wide open spaces for our ride routes!

Another item - there'll be a 12 passenger van on site which will take us out for dinner, both Friday and Saturday evenings. That way, after riding extensively for a significant part of the day, folks can take some time to "powder your nose" before going out to look after gastronomical inclinations. No need to suit up, or to abstain from having your favourite adult beverage with dinner, because the designated driver will be stone cold sober.
Since there's space available in both the van and the cabins, I'd like to see a few more attendees. So come join us, and bring your mother-in-law! Well maybe the latter part would be ill-advised...

Long story short, the Wing got damaged last night. Nothing major, but it can't be ridden until the front ABS ring gets replaced.
The part may not arrive in time for our Newfoundland trip in a week, so we may be doing that by car instead.
The show must go on, as they say.

Given we're arriving back from the Rock to then head onto WoodSToc3, there's now some uncertainly in my world.
This has similarities to WoodStoc1's ST1300's fork seal fiasco written all over it. (Seal failed a week out - parts arrived the day before I was leaving - midnight installs - test ride as I was leaving for WoodSToc1....)

Here's keeping my fingers crossed. I'll keep you all advised.

@catcher has day one's ride planned out. He's asked me to plan day two's ride.

I have 2 proposals for folks.

Option 1 The Rivers & Lakes Ride loop.
Scenic rides thru : Tracy, Welsford, Grand Bay – Westfield, Rothesay, Hampton, Norton, Sussex. Includes two ferry crossings (1 cable, 1 free floating) & 1 (or 2) normal sized covered bridge, compared to the Hartland Covered Bridge.

Option 2 The Bay of Fundy, Fundy Trail Parkway.
Starts and ends like Option 1, but has 35km of amazing vistas of the Bay of Fundy coast from down at the water’s edge to high up above. https://www.parcsnbparks.ca/en/parks/35/fundy-trail-provincial-park. There's an entrance fee of about $12.50 for the park. Oh, there's also the world's only double covered wooden bridge on this route!

Both are enjoyable rides. Option 2 has about 45min of slab, just to save some time, but could include the ferrys & covered bridge if desired, removing the slab (and adding about 1hr riding time.) Option 2 no slab

With River Run fairly central in New Brunswick, it's the return trips that adds the time. We almost need a rolling WoodSToc event that moved around NB, to see all of what it has to offer! Maybe that's an idea for WoodSToc4??

Option 2 is my preference. The Parkway is an amazing ride with breathtaking views (as long as there's no fog!) but either one should be a great experience.

Let me know what you'd prefer. They can be changed on a whim, since the first 1.5hs is the same.

Or we can do the normal St. Andrew's loop we've done the past 2 years.

Awesome (,) Obo! New Brunswick really does have some terrific sightseeing potential. Personally, because I've only experienced a highlight version of what there is on offer, having lived here only three years, I'm looking forward eagerly to what Obo's proposing. What comes to mind is, if there's interest, we could expand the program for an additional day. Probably, the River Run accommodation could be stretched for an additional night, or failing availability, there are other options. (I do have two air b&b houses)
I do hope a few more riding enthusiasts will join us! The more the merrier!

Riding in New Brunswick often is relatively free of automotive clutter, ie, little traffic. Feels nice to go at your own pace, without creeping cages cluttering the roadscape!
So much potential - don't miss it!
And if you'd prefer to fly in, I can pick you up at the airport and loan you a bike. PM me.
