I have a pair of those boot covers too, but really don't like the traction you get when you put your foot down at a stop.
But these work pretty good and look goofy too!

Wish I could attend the 2023 WoodSToc but had many other plans for this summer already. But I’m putting 2024 WoodSToc on my calendar. Hartland is my wife’s home town so it will be nice to visit family and friends as well while down there.
Wishing y’all the best weather and fun for 2023!

Mrs. Obo and I actually rode to Woodstock today via the old Trans Canada Highway. It was almost a lovely 7 hour excursion.

We stopped for dinner at Grant's restaurant, and were impressed with the food!

The only downside was when were were leaving and I noticed what turned out to be fork oil down the side of the bike. Yup, I blew a fork seal. Too much oil all over the fork leg and down the side of the bike to be just a bit of dirt in the seal I think.

After trying to clean it up with paper towel as best I could we limped home on just the slab (so no more scenic drive views.... although even the TCH views of wilderness are decent!)

Stopped a few times to inspect for more fluid loss and clean as required.

Now I'll be scrambling to see if I can get parts shipped to me and get them installed on STella before the event rolls around! There's not much time left folks!!

Try the seal cleaner with sealmate or thin film. I had that happen to me on the road 4 days from home and it stopped it. I changed the fluid when I got home and didn’t do anything further to the seals. Just do it a few times to make sure you got everything. Hope it works for you.

I've done the sealmate thing on other bikes, so that's not new to me and likely will try.

I'm concerned with how much fluid I've lost. This wasn't just a bit of seepage around the wiper.

If I've got them out to just redo the fluid and find they still leak afterwards I might be S.O.L.

Not much time left to get stuff shipped here and installed before the 17th!
