WoodSToc Aug 17-20, 2023 - Woodstock, NB

As I sit, I'm contemplating what I got. Satisfaction! The opposite of the song, "cant get no..." I'm lovin' New Brunswick, the friendly folks, the light traffic, and the awesome scenery. Naturally, its worth sharing, so come see and enjoy! From my point of view currently, I'm feeling some extra smugness because I recently sold my travel trailer for the same price I paid for it in the fall of 2020. That allowed me to pay bills - all of them. The other positive note has to do with my daughter and I having just finished renos and decorating our second airbnb house. Its been photographed and will be online in a week or two.
As for the list of ride routes, eateries, and interesting places, its expanding. Flexibility will be part of the program, to allow for other's opinions, and weather's influence. There's some locals lined up to join rides, so that we'll always have local knowledge at hand.
You might consider an extended stay beyond the WoodSToc time frame, I'll be glad to help. All that's needed now, is YOU!

It's as easy as Sam's your Uncle.

Just for fun I put the following into an AI powered photo generator:
"A group of St1300 motorcycles riding in a group by a river and trees in Woodstock New Brunswick"
Here's that it gave me as computer generated options. :)

I'm sure we can do better than AI generated when you're here!

More unique things to do @WoodSToc in Woodstock, New Brunswick!

Take a Ride on the Woodstock Slammer

One unique activity to experience in Woodstock, NB is taking a ride on the Woodstock Slammer. Located at the Woodstock Raceway, this thrilling amusement ride swings riders high up in the air, providing an adrenaline-pumping experience. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or simply looking for a unique adventure, the Woodstock Slammer offers a one-of-a-kind ride that will leave you with lasting memories.

Visit the Potato World Museum

For a truly unique experience, head to the Potato World Museum, located just outside of Woodstock. This quirky museum is dedicated to the potato industry, which has played a significant role in the region’s history and economy. Discover fascinating exhibits that showcase the potato’s journey from seed to table, learn about the different varieties, and explore the agricultural techniques used in potato farming. The museum offers a fun and educational experience, making it a must-visit destination for those interested in the unique agricultural heritage of Woodstock and the surrounding area.

Explore the Meduxnekeag River Rock Holes

The Meduxnekeag River, located near Woodstock, is known for its unique natural feature called the “rock holes.” These cylindrical potholes, formed by the grinding action of rocks and water over thousands of years, create natural swimming pools. Pack a picnic, bring your swimsuit, and spend a day exploring and cooling off in these natural wonders. The rock holes provide a refreshing and adventurous experience for those seeking a unique and natural swimming destination.

Explore the Hartland Covered Bridge

We're already planning to ride though it!

I've done the Potato World Museum & Hartland Covered Bridge, along with the Covered Bridge potato chip factory tour.

The Slammer and river rocks holes are still new to me :)

My list includes more than we'll have time for. So we'll pick and choose when the time comes, depending on what folks find appealing. Don't want to micro-manage too far in advance.
Leaving first thing in the morning to ride to Ontario to see family. (but getting a motel just east of Drummondville)
On Thursday, it'll be lunch at Wilno with my long time riding buddy. Maybe about 1or 1:30, if anyone would like to join in. But first, breakfast at Fresh Cuts in Bracebridge! Probably 9.

Safe travels!

While in Woodstock check out the many covered bridges. I know I have in years past.

I have a sister in Sackville and a niece and nephew as well outlaws in Fredericton.
The other reason I can't it to WoodSTOC is my sister will be visiting me in Ontario. Our plan is to spread my mother's and our sisters' ashes in the bay where our parents had a cottage for almost 40 years.
Hope you guys have fun at the inaugural event.
Dave
